Entre Rios Province Continues Consolidating As Congress Objectives
The province of Entre Rios continues to consolidate as a destination for congresses and conventions. For the fourth consecutive year, the Ministry of Tourism Events attended Expo 2011, the largest gathering of industry business in Latin America.
Entre Rios took a booth at Expo Events 2011, the business meeting of industry conferences, conventions and tourism in Latin America’s most important meetings.
Tourism meeting includes the organization of congresses, fairs, exhibitions, sporting events, corporate travel and incentives. It is the fastest growing tourism segment in the last decade and shows higher spending per visitor compared to the conventional tourist.
In this regard, our province unveiled the 9 to 11 August, its potential to the most outstanding players in a niche market that represents about 20 percent of international arrivals and is characterized by sustained growth rates of high profitability and contribution to the development of other sectors related to the field.
The institutional stand of the province was the space where they discussed the full range of alternatives, infrastructure and services provided for the realization of all meetings of the hierarchy.
Accompanied by the private sector regarding the segment of business tourism, the Tourism Ministry promoted a comprehensive guide to services for event planners across the country.
It noted that in this edition, a little over 300 exhibitors participated in the Round of negotiations, a unique area to conduct business meetings with 60 “hosted buyers” first level of Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Chile and of course Argentina.
